services because the demand for
healthcare services far exceeds the
resources.
OTRI
has created a product exclusively for
Disaster
Management. We have researched
disasters and developed an integrated
Disaster Management System called
Disamed 2000. This
system facilitates rapid medical
consultation and diagnosis in disaster
situations like earthquakes, floods,
typhoons, tsunamis and any massive
gathering of human beings like
religious fairs.

The impact of OTRI work can be
appreciated across India and abroad.
In India many OTRI systems and
solutions have been used in difficult
situations under demanding conditions.
OTRI has worked for the Armed
Forces and Jivan Nirmaya Project. Till
date the OTRI innovations have
been successfully implemented at mass
gatherings like the Kumbh Mela,
Lucknow and the Mansarovar Yatra.
OTRI helped during the Gujarat
Earthquakes. OTRI has worked in
Army Border Posts in
Gujarat and Rajasthan, in Karnataka, at Earthquake Rehabilitation Centers, in
AIIMS New Delhi, SGPGI Lucknow, in
Tripura, Kolkata and Uttranchal and so
on. Medical related education through
the telemedicine infrastructure
between
Cuttack and Lucknow and a number of
remote and rural places through out
India is an ongoing process. The
OTRI innovation has also been used
for Epidemiological Surveillance,
Water Quality, Hospital Admissions and
Fly Index. An OTRI solution has
been used in the Orthotoludine test of
drinking water and for grading water
supply monitored on day-to-day basis.
OTRI has also been used in
Gastroenteritis, Infective Hepatitis,
Fever, Conjunctivitis and Fly breeding
